Only For The Week by Natasha Bishop

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Whew y’all Janelle worked my nerves. I mean I loved sis character but the way she let her sister treat her worked my nerves. How the hell is Janelle’s sister marrying Janelle’s ex and got the nerve to treat Janelle like she the one marrying her ex. Janelle was a trooper because sis could care less about ol boy but the way her sister was acting you would have thought Janelle was trying to get him back on the low. Janelle wanted the best friend Rome though, because Rome was that ninja. The way he took care of Janelle had me swooning, but it was Rome reading romance books with Janelle for me. I don’t know how Janelle wasn’t willing to risk it all for Rome right then and there because if it were me I would have popped right back up at that resort that night and told the entire wedding party Rome was mine…periodt. I was glad when Janelle finally came to her senses and didn’t let Rome get away. These two were hot and steamy too y’all. When Janelle finally went off on her sister I was over here celebrating like “girl finally” STAND UP FOR YOURSELF.

I loved how the entire friend group were all successful in their professions and supported each other. I enjoyed the dynamic of everyone’s friendship as well. I hope there will be some other love interest within this group because I need to know what was going on with Micah and Dani. And is there a little enemies to lovers between Evie and Christian or is Evie going for the brother Jalen? I have questions Natasha that only a book two or a spin off can answer.

This book had the feel of a forbidden romance but how can you getting with your ex’s best friend be forbidden when your ex is marrying your sister? IT AINT. Anyway this was a NTMA and I can’t wait to read more of her work.
