I didn’t get much reading done in July since I was in vacation mode…I was in LA, Vegas, and Pittsburg then had to come home and catch up on the 200 work emails I missed while I was gone! I took several books with me but read none hell I hardly slept so I guess it’s safe to say I lived my best post lockdown life!
The books I did manage to finish in July

Valentine’s Series by Skye Moon
There are two books in this series and let me just say Skye Moon came with it on the sex scenes in these books and I was so here for it y’all. Click the title link to read my full thoughts on this series.
- If Only For One Night
- Love Me Gently

The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead
I don’t know what possessed me to pick up a hard read after vacation with so little time to finish out the month. I don’t regret reading The Underground Railroad but this was a time I wish I was a polyreader so I could read an easy read while trying to get through The Underground Railroad, nevertheless I got through it. It took me about a week to read this because I kept putting it down, not because it wasn’t a good read but because it was such a hard read. After a couple hours I would pick it back up and read a little more because I needed to know what was going on with Cora and Ceasar. Click the title link to read my full thoughts on this book.
